Dear Nigeria,
Or should I say “Dear you reading🤩.
So, whether you live in Nigeria like me or you visit or you just view us from afar 😂 then you might know that today, October 1st, marks our country’s 60th year of Independence.
Many Nigerians have mixed feelings about seasons like this, but because I want to keep this msg simple, I won’t even get to that (🤐).
Today, I want to talk to you about your right to faith.
The first time I ever held a concert outside my church as a teenager, I was about 17 years old.
The Aladumo hall (🥺h my Alma mata) was then one of the biggest in PH city. “Greenaar” the show was called.
Aaarhh!!! ‘We were daring Youngsters’ at the time, I led young minds 🤔some my age, some older, some younger than I was and we achieved every single thing we set our minds to and I’m not talking small goals, I mean tough choices we made then.
I had the best team any leader could ask for Power Team!! The best in the world… Faith Borne, words would fail to describe them!!! Funny I didn’t have a Facebook account then and IG wasn’t a thing as it is now, so everything was off the media.
Growing up, I was the one with words and a great love for arts, science and the stage all at the same time it almost got confusing. Well you had my attention so long as it had to do with the gospel.
I’m still in the game so I guess not much has changed.🤪
Lemme give you one gist🥳
One time, our concert was up in a week and we had no money 😆 though we kept our publicity on like MAHHHD!!!! Oooohpss‼️
I was more confident than I could ever be, our fliers were out on the streets with all the superstars I envisioned on it. Though I had no single idea how to get to them🤦🏾♀️. I guess somewhere deep within I might have been a lil bit unsure or scared but somehow I was immune to my own feelings like frozen mode activated guyzzz I allowed nothing like fear, not sure though what thoughts came by but I moved courageously always and it was a YES or YES anyways.
Going through some old snippets from those moments I was reminded of the girl I used to be. The one who stepped on water and watched in freeze under her feet. I didn’t wait to see it freeze before stepping never!!! Hmmmnnn‼️how I was aware of my right to faith for in Romans 12:3 he said to everyone he gave the measure-of faith so guess what you’ve got faith already for those of you Christians wondering have I?
Long story short, in a couple of days I met every superstar on my flier in person I mean these peeps I only saw on TV or somewhere in my head or my dreams. The hall was paid for and we had a grand show of cause with the best team on my side.

Of cause in this work of Faith there’d be times you’ll be livid. 🙄Hello!! that’s why Paul called it a FIGHT of Faith it won’t always be a merry go round thingiii. In today’s journey there’s been days I had to doubt my believing until I understood that’s all the devil needed me to do, that’s his “go to” trick to get you to doubt your believing.
Of course, you-are a believer‼️meaning, believing is what you do, i.e it’s who you are, Really‼️ let’s face it‼️ did you see Jesus in person when you confessed his Lordship🤷🏾♀️ oh no?? 🤣I thought so. The fact that you consider yourself a follower of Christ is enough proof that you have faith. So now it’s up to you to live it, Walk it, Talk it, Grow it. Use it‼️
How things are very, very different today just because…
…📣We have the Holy Ghost‼️
The one who can make any man independent.
He’s a teacher, comforter, teaching us ALL THINGS what else better fits the definition of independence…
The Holy Ghost is such a game changer, tipping the scales such that someone like me, with lil or no connections and all ‘em big stuff, could live my best life to the fullest. Therefore helping my belief system. Helping my faith. Helping me Explore all shades of me lavishly😋
Today, I want to remind you that Nigeria isn’t the only one independent. You are too‼️

•Whom the son of God set free is FREE!!
•Set yourself free from procrastination for you’ve been ready long enough
•Deliver yourself from the fear of something going bad because until you stop being anxious you won’t truly live
•Fling your ‘what ifs’ out the window.
•Draw the flag of your creativity on paper
•Then walk the streets fearless knowing you’ve got all it takes
•Thrive!!! Shine!!! Win!!!
•Type out the anthem of your heart on your screen.
•Live your script well baby for your story says you are free!!! Indeed!!!
From this independence day and onwards, do things creatively, things your mind can’t carry it mustn’t be something physical it might be allowing yourself feel something that ignites your passion, allowing your mind process a space you’ve been scared to explore, owning and facing something you feel insecure about, something you thought you couldn’t do,somewhere in your mind DARE TO‼️, dare to take on all of you, dare to live.
